THE RAT-RACE WEEK IS OVER, come Saturday morning you should do something relaxing and fun…take the scenic drive into Middleburg and begin your weekend at the Farmers' Market.

Every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, May through October the Middleburg Farmers' Market is open for business directly behind the Community Center. Ample parking is available and you will be delighted with the selection of quality items available.

You'll find excellent cheese makers, a French baker with wonderful fresh breads, perfectly ripe organically grown fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs, deserts and right out of the oven Mexican flans.

You may also add meats to your market basket including beef and ostrich, as well as farm fresh eggs. Don't forget fresh flowers cut that morning, and plants for your kitchen garden.

The fact is, fresh local food is far superior to food picked or prepared months ago in a far away place. You and your family should have the finest quality foods available from local growers. You and your family will be healthier, and you'll have the satisfaction of supporting your local community.
