Letters to the Editor - Red vs Blue
I want to ask the following questions of the challenger to Congressman Frank Wolf's 10th District Congressional seat:
1. What qualifies you to represent our district since you moved to Northern Virginia in 2003?
2. How did your experience on Wall Street "inspire" you to represent Virginians?
3. You do not own a home in Virginia – you rent in McLean. You have not paid real estate taxes in the 10th District, yet you want to represent us?
4. Does attending 4 years at a Virginia university as an undergraduate qualify you to know what the 10th District constituents need?
5. How did you happen to pick the 10th District? If as you state in your bio, you are interested in stimulating the "innovation economy to the future of our country, and especially Virginia," why not pick an area that would benefit from your expertise?
6. Why do you, a New Yorker, care about Virginia? In your bio, you make no mention of your work with Chuck Schumer - why?
7. Why did you choose to rent in McLean? Is that address a prerequisite for your success?
8. What is your connection with special interest groups - NEA; AFLCIO? How does the NEA rate you?
9. Your bio states that you were "chairman of the University's renowned honor system," while in college. Are you not discrediting that "honor" system by misrepresenting Congressman Wolf's record?
10. You state that you are pro-abortion, yet your bio states that you are Catholic. How do you reconcile this inconsistency?
