Middleburg Elementary has been awarded the Distinguished Title I School Award by the Virginia Department of Education for raising the achievement of economically disadvantaged students and for meeting or exceeding the objectives of the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act.

The school met the Annual Yearly Progress goal by maintaining mean test scores for both English and mathematics at the 60th percentile or higher. A banner and framed certificate from the Department of Education are on display at the school.

The Annual Art show begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 29. All students in grades kindergarten through 5th will exhibit artwork. Students and guests will create a work of art together during the event.

New Attendance Policy

The Loudoun County School Board recently announced an important admittance change that will allow Loudoun County students outside the Middleburg area to attend Middleburg Elementary by special request. Previous policy required a "hardship" circumstance for attendance. If you would like more information, please contact Middleburg's principal, Gary Wilkers, at 703-771-6680.
