The Upperville Community League Board invites you to a community party on Saturday, March 26 at 1 p.m. in honor of retiring Upperville Postmaster Marge Denham.

For 12 years Marge has not only dispensed the mail to Uppervillians, but has been central to those who gather at the post office to get the village news. "If you wanted to know what was going on, you just asked Marge," says Doug Gow, president of the Upperville Community League. "We wanted to show her how much she has meant to the community."

Before coming to Upperville, Marge was the postmaster in Flint Hill, Virginia, and she has enjoyed small town postal life. "Leaving Upperville is tearing me apart," she says. "My customers are my friends. I hate leaving them."

Everyone is welcome at this community gathering to say goodbye to Marge. Refreshments will be served.
