Middleburg Bank Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Leesburg with Over $500 Million in Deposits
Today Middleburg Bank celebrated breaking the banking milestone of $500 million in deposits. The celebration also marked the bank's 10th year in the Leesburg market. The bank's board of directors, executive staff and the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce convened at the bank's Fort Evans location to celebrate.
Alice Frazier, Chief Operating Officer addressed the gathering. "I'd like to thank our staff, our board of directors and our executive team. Without the quality people who make Middleburg Bank what it is today, we'd be just another bank."
Frazier also thanked the bank's clients, "Most of all, I'd like to thank our clients. Without clients that appreciate our brand of banking, we would not have been able to make such dramatic strides over the last ten years. As we experience future growth, we will always remember why clients choose to bank with us and will continue to cultivate a culture that emphasizes personal service, community involvement and highly competitive products."
In 1996, Middleburg Bank had $150 million in deposits and only two locations, Middleburg and Purcellville. Today, with deposits at more than $550 million and seven locations, Middleburg Bank is well on its way to the $600 million mark.
Much of the bank's growth over the last ten years can be attributed to its Leesburg presence. Since opening its first Leesburg location in a trailer in January 1996, the bank's presence in the Leesburg market has accounted for more than $200 million in deposit growth. Today, Middleburg Bank has three Leesburg locations and an 18,000 square foot operations center.
