The wet weather Saturday apparently had no effect on the Foxcroft Walk-A-Thon as approximately 85 students and teachers walked with the Ambassador from Malawi after he praised organizers for their astounding fund-raising efforts, received a Walk-A-Thon shirt and Foxcroft cap from Junior Class officers, and pronounced them all official ambassadors of Malawi. The event has already raised more than $15,000 for schools in malawi, another $1,000 and the Class can say they've underwritten the completion of a brand new school. Donations welcome through May 1.
