With some of the newly elected council members in the gallery Mayor Tim Dimos called the council meeting to order on Thursday, May 11, at 7:30 PM, on time as usual. A short public hearing on the Town's budget for fiscal year 2006-2007 preceded the regular business. Total general fund expenses for the coming year are projected at $1,332, 157 with general fund revenues totaling $1,332, 157. Major sources of revenue projected for the town: $244,500 in "Collection and Enforcement" revenues; $240,000 in "Real Estate and Personal Property taxes; $237,000 in "Meal and Occupancy Taxes"; and $175,000 each from "Bank Franchise Taxes" and "Business Licenses.
