Middleburg Fire Ruled Incendiary
Two fires set within seven hours of each other June 4th in Middleburg resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages and an indication from the Fire Marshall's office that arson may have been the cause.
Offices under renovation at 10 North Pendleton Street were "deliberately set" according to the Fire Marshall. The offices, which were near completion, will require another three months to finish according to Middleburg town officials.
A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
The second fire which broke out at 11 East Federal Street occurred seven hours after the fire on North Pendleton was ablaze. Fire Marshals are still investigating the second fire.
