There will be an amazing variety of activities for children at beautiful and historic Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia, when the traditional Running of the Steeplechase takes place Saturday, October 14th at the internationally renowned course.
"You'll not only see the regular race goers and athletic horses, you'll see many families who enjoy the races and The Family Fair," said Will O'Keeffe, Executive Director of Morven Park. "It's clear that the Family Fun area enhances the day for families, but it doesn't take them away from this fine and fun sport that is steeped in Virginia tradition."

"We are thrilled to once again have Gregg at the Steeplechase. He immediately committed to leading this walk, and we think his enthusiasm with the kids will certainly turn them into our Steeplechase's lifetime fans, maybe even future supporters, owners or jockeys."

"We realize that a large part of race day excitement is to come with friends or family and enjoy a wonderful day outdoors, But when folks want to watch the horses, it's nice to be able to turn around and actually see the race," O'Keeffe emphasized.
