· From pages 4, 5 of the print edition

Coachman Farm will throb with the excitement of The Lion King at Sandi Young's September 20th benefit for the African Ubuntu Education Fund, and guests will have an opportunity to bid on a spectacular selection of Live and Silent Auction items.

"We can all make a difference in the world today," Sandi explained. "The generosity of individuals in Hunt Country is renowned, and that reputation is well deserved. It is evenings like this that make the difference between the success or failure of families who are struggling to succeed. It is an honor to help them."

The Evening of Song & Imagery will begin immediately when guests arrive at the luxurious country estate with cocktails and a VIP Reception in the stables. The Ubuntu Reception and silent auction will begin at 7 p.m. with guests being seated for dinner promptly at 8 p.m.

A few extraordinary items including a week at a fully-staffed Aspen Villa, will be auctioned at 9 p.m. by Band Leader Michael Bacon and, at 9:40 p.m., Grammy Award winner Lebo Morake will take the stage with The Lion King cast to give a memorable and moving performance.

"The vibrancy and power of The Lion King performers is impossible to describe," Sandy said. "Their commitment to the story comes through with every note. I am confident no one will leave without experiencing the emotional thrill that only this fabulous music about the romance and desperation of the amazing African continent and its proud people can convey."
