Middleburg owes a huge "thank you" to those who have already donated funds to purchase the 5 new recycling receptacles for the Town of Middleburg's Business District. Those donors are (you can also see their names on the receptacles):

Middleburg Bank
Middleburg Beautification and Preservation
Middleburg Business and Professional Association
Middleburg Inns: Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast, Middleburg Country Inn, The Goodstone Inn and The Red Fox Inn

Thanks also go to Middleburg Millwork and Marvin Simms for receiving and placing the receptacles.

Studies have shown that to be effective, a recycling can needs to be placed next to a trash can. To satisfy that need, the Town needs an additional 9 recycling cans. The cost of each receptacle is $1340.00 which allows the recycling receptacles to match the quality and look of the existing trash receptacles.

There is still the opportunity to contribute to this effort. Plaques will be affixed to all receptacles with the name of the donor or group of donors. Any amount can be donated. If you want to participate you can donate the full cost of a receptacle, join friends in purchasing a receptacle, or donate to the Middleburg Go Green Recycling Effort. Checks should be made out to the Town of Middleburg.
