On September 14th 2009, Nina Karin Bratches and Ian Bruce Abernethy were married in Warrenton, Virginia.

Nina and Ian reside at Fox Den Farm in The Plains, Virginia. Ian, a retired management consultant, and Nina, an interior designer, are now focusing on raising natural Angus beef 'Pride of the Plains' with their partner Rodger Lee Elgin III.

The Abernethy's are presently restoring their 19th century house and enjoying life on the farm. Nina and Ian are delighted to share this union with their children Kristen, Nicholas and Jennifer, their son-in-law Steven, their grandchildren Alexandra, Christopher, Abigail and Cooper and other family and friends!
