US Equestrian Team Veteran Alison Robitaille to Give Clinic at Foxcroft

· From pages 4 of the print edition

Foxcroft School is delighted to announce that is hosting a clinic by Alison Firestone Robitaille on the weekend of November 6th and 7th. The clinic will take place at the Jean du-Pont McConnell Stables at the Middleburg, VA, school.

Robitaille, who graduated from Foxcroft in 1995, has represented the United States in many international events over the past 15 years, including the Samsung Nations Cup World Series, the World Equestrian Games, and the 2004 Nations Cup. She also was an alternate for the 1998 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.

The Foxcroft clinic offers a fabulous chance for riders to fine-tune their jumping and other skills as they prepare for a winter of training and competing. The clinic will consist of 90-minute group sessions with a maximum of five riders per group. Saturday sessions will focus on the flat work critical to successfully negotiating courses, including poles and small jumps. Sunday's clinics will be more formal course work. Levels range from 2'3" to 3'6".

The cost of the clinic is $225 for two days; $125 for one day for non-Foxcroft students and $10 per person for auditors. Each participating rider receives a free auditing spot for a trainer or friend. Preference will be given to riders signing up for both days.
