With family, friends and dignitaries on hand, Middleburg Boy Scout Troop 2950 held it's first Eagle Scout Court of Honor for John W. Swiatek. This year John completed his 9 year journey to become an Eagle Scout. This honor is given to fewer than 4 percent of all scouts, due to it's rigorous requirements. These requirements include: mastery of leadership skills, service and outdoor know how and exemplary good citizenship and ethical behavior. These young men are the leaders of tomorrow. We congratulate John in this accomplishments and wish to thank his parents, Joseph and Sally Swiatek for their support of Troop 2950.
