Council has declared the Town's 2008 Ford F250 XL pick-up truck to be surplus property and has directed Town staff to sell it at public auction as required under Town Code Chapter 5.

Town Administrator Semmes reported that a new vehicle would cost around $26,500. If the Town could get $18,000 for the old truck, she noted, the net cost would be only around $8,500.
