Council voted 3-2 to allow staff to release funds already budgeted for increased salaries for the Mayor and members of Town Council. The Mayor's salary will increase from $1,000 annually to $6,000. Council members, who are currently paid $20 per meeting will henceforth be paid $2,400 per year.
