Middleburg Real Estate/Atoka Properties announced today that Allan Marteney will be named Principal Broker of the firm beginning June 1, 2015. Allan has been licensed in real estate since 1978 and has vast sales and management experience plus exceptional knowledge of the local real estate industry.

In addition to his over 20 years of real estate management experience, Allan owned and operated a local area real estate firm and has received numerous industry awards and recognition throughout his career.

He is leaving his current position as Director of Professional Development for the Dulles Area Association of REALTORS® where he served as Director of Professional Development. His duties included running the education department and serving as the professional standards administrator for the Association. Allan is well respected as a broker in the real estate community as well as widely recognized as one of the most knowledgeable and entertaining real estate instructors in the region.

Allan's role with Atoka Properties will be to oversee the operations and expansion of the firm.
