Linda Tripp Serves up German Bratwurst

· From pages 6, 7 of the print edition

Linda Tripp and her husband, German architect Dieter Rausch, owners of Middleburg's Christmas Sleigh (5 E. Washington Street, Middleburg), can now be seen serving up real German Bratwurst at their authentic German Christmas Market House in the heart of downtown Middleburg.

"It's been great fun opening The Christmas Sleigh in Middleburg and bringing beautifully made German Christmas treasures to Middleburg," Tripp said. "It's a great fit and the Bratwurst Haus is yet another of our beloved German Christmas traditions that we were excited to share."

"During the month of December, Dieter and I are either in The Christmas Sleigh gearing up for the season or across the street in the 'Weihnachts Markt' overseeing the Bratwurst and hot cider. It's all a terrific feeling of a true old world German Christmas right here in downtown Middleburg."

Heralding the start of Advent, "Weihnachts Markt" opened this week and will remain open 7 days a week from 11-6 through the end of December. The "Weihnachts Markt" located on the main street in Middleburg in the garden of The Noble House (101 W. Washington Street), offers authentic German Bratwurst, authentic German Christmas Stollen, hot mulled cider and a variety of German Christmas confections.
