Foxcroft School Day Students Sponsor Blood Drive
Foxcroft School's Day Students, led by student prefects Amy Lucas of Leesburg and Emily Wheelwright of The Plains, invite you to help replenish depleted supplies at a special Blood Drive on Monday, April 24. The drive is to be held in honor of former teacher Keith M. McBride, who retired in 2004 after three decades of outstanding service and exemplary achievement for which the Board of Trustees bestowed on him their highest honor - the Anne Kane McGuire Distinguished Service Award. McBride, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia, lives with his wife of 39 years, Kendra, in Cross Junction, VA. We urge all alumnae and friends of Foxcroft who have been touched by McBride's life to donate blood in his honor.
The drive, one of three conducted annually at Foxcroft School in Middleburg, will be held from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the FoxHound Auditorium. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 540-687-4322 or emailing blamond@foxcroft.org. Lucas, Wheelwright and local students will welcome donors and assist the Red Cross in this crucial community service.
