Foxcroft Supports Breast Cancer Warriors

· From pages 26 of the print edition

Foxcroft students raised $500 for The Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Fund and awareness of how important it is to take control of your own body during the Nanette's Walk initiative. The walk is named in honor of Nanette Hewitt White who lost her 10-year battle with breast cancer. Foxcroft students who participated in the walk made up the largest single group in the event. Patty Jarvis, a walk organizer and Beth Glenn, both breast cancer warriors, spoke to the students encouraging them to feel empowered to understand and beat the disease.
