Armfield, Harrison & Thomas, Inc. (AH&T Insurance), an independent insurance agency in Leesburg, has awarded their 21st annual scholarship for $5,500 to Mary Fore of Loudoun Valley High School. Kate Armfield, Senior Vice President of AH&T Insurance, presented the scholarship on Tuesday, June 9, 2008 at the Loudoun Valley High School Awards Ceremony.

Mary, a member of the National Honor Society and the Foreign Language Honor Society, is a very deserving student, who plans to major in Pre-medicine, Biology and Latin. She has maintained above a 4.0 grade average while taking 5 AP classes. She earned an academic letter all four years of high school while participating in Varsity Lacrosse, Girl Scouts and served as Latin Club President and Student Council Secretary in her senior year. Mary is described as kind, respectful and honest, all of which are excellent traits for a doctor in which she aspires to be one day.

Miss Fore will be attending the College of William and Mary in the fall.
