· From pages 6 of the print edition

The Ladies Board of Inova Loudoun Hospital invites the community of Loudoun to join in celebrating the annual Lights of Love tree-lighting ceremony on Sunday, December 6 at 5:00 p.m. in the lobby atrium of the Lansdowne campus.

The Lights of Love tree will be lighted, refreshments served, and music provided. "We are delighted to again welcome the 4th and 5th grades of Hillside Elementary directed by Rachel Newell and Todd Grivetti, and the music group, Twelve (for 12 Wonderful, Energetic, Lovable Vocal Entertainers) from Heritage High School directed by Nancy Riley", said Becky Ottinger, chairman of the Lights of Love program.

"The Lights of Love is a year-round remembrance project that raises funds for nursing scholarships for those who live and/or work in Loudoun County", said Joyce Biesecker, president of the Ladies Board. " In May 2009, the Ladies Board granted 53 nursing scholarships for a total of $100,700."

To place a light on the Lights of Love tree, donation forms can be found by going to the web site: www.LadiesBoard.org and clicking on Lights of Love. For additional information, please call 703-771-2985.
