· From pages 1, 7 of the print edition

The Washington Capitals, former Redskin Ken Harvey, Robert Duval and Hunt Country's finest artists are completing their tablecloths to auction at the Project Helping Hand Haiti benefit Friday, February 26th, at the Middleburg Community Center.

Charming tablecloths from local artists Kevin Chadwick, Tom Neel, Joan Gardiner and Lilla Ohrstrom and many area residents will be auctioned at the event, as will important Haitian art and original artwork by Misia Broadhead, Kevin Chadwick, Simon Bland, Tom Neel, and Miguel Diaz. A terrific Resort and Golf Club weekend at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club in Tampa, FL, will be auctioned off.

Well known musician Andrew McKnight will provide music and Tuttie Perricone and friends will preview their performance of Nunsence.

As you've heard and read, the Haitian crisis has only deepened in the weeks following the earthquake. Money is desperately needed for shelter and sanitation right now.

The Community Coalition for Haiti, the partner in the benefit and the beneficiary of the event, has set up a restricted fund so that 100% of your donation will be used to help those in need in the areas of Haiti hit hardest by the earthquake. Even the smallest amount is a treasure to those without food, water, medicine, or help at this time.

The benefit begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $25 at the door.
