Blue Ridge Hospice Plans Scrapbook Memories Workshop
Blue Ridge Hospice plans a unique, hands-on program in Middleburg, "Cherished Memories, A Scrapbooking Workshop," on Saturday, March 27. The program is designed to help anyone who wishes to preserve memories of loved ones and cherished pets, including beloved dogs and horses.
From 1-4 p.m. at the Parish Hall of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, participants will receive scrapbooking tips and actually make their own special memory book featuring photos of the person or pet they wish to memorialize. Facilitators will explain why preserving memories in tangible form is important to the healing process in losing a loved one.
There is no charge for the workshop, and all supplies are included. Those attending are asked to remember and bring the photos they would like included in their scrapbook. Participants are asked to RSVP to Blue Ridge Hospice at 540-536-1064 to ensure that sufficient supplies are provided. For specific questions on the class, call Gina Caudill at 540-536-5210 for more information.
