If you're a resident of the Town of Middleburg, or a friend or neighbor who knows and loves it, or someone who just cares about the past, present and future of this small town of some 600 people...

help us fill our Town Council seats.

If you have the ability, interest, and time ... run.

If you KNOW someone with the ability, interest and time to serve, encourage THEM to run.

FOUR members of Council are all it takes to raise or lower taxes, raise or lower your water bill, or completely re-zone your street (or part of it).

FOUR votes are all it takes to expand the town, approve weekly rock concerts in your back yard, or ban parties that can be heard in your next door neighbors yard.

TWO of those four seats may well be filled in May to represent constituencies of one... an otherwise unopposed candidate... elected by his or her own, single, write-in vote.

For us to allow this is both irresponsible and embarrassing. Run, or help find good people to run.

And, if you can, vote.
