Council's decision to actively support the creation of a Town Museum, and the solicitation of funds to integrate the Town's existing walking trails into a well-planned, well-designed, and well-maintained whole are equally commendable.

Their approach to the museum project, making effective use of existing property and the on-going enthusiasm of educator and former Town Council Member Eura Lewis is especially commendable.

The project also fits nicely into the vision of Missy Janes and her supporters, combining stewardship of the Town's history, with stewardship of it's natural resources.

August, despite the heat, and rain, and power outages, has been a very good month indeed.
