Thanks, and Farewell - Red

· By Jim Morgan · From pages 44, 45 of the print edition

Well, I do have to say goodbye again have to shared stories.

I'll miss Virginia and its people. Won't the Middleburg Eccentric be a better place for the new and improved Red and Blue?

A new time to say goodbye. And most importantly that we all can share a commitment to continue the legacy of the Eccentric's monthly Red and Blue column.

I say that after all the support friends of that's had, there's no turning back to write new chapters on understanding one another, and most importantly that the good people at the Eccentric's left them there. I'll be sure to do a lot more work on some of the political topics. It is a satisfying to be able to do this sort of public writing on political topics. It is satisfying to be able to express one's views and know that they will be published on a regular basis.

Without a doubt, the support from all the Red and Blue readers over the years has been overwhelming and has kept me motivated to continue this great work. It has truly been a pleasure. I wish nothing but the best to the new Red and their family in the future.
